I have installed on Win 7 64 bit.  Eyecon manager is running, as noted by icon on systray.  When I open eycon controller, it sits at "Please wait.  Looking for eyecon manager."  Any suggestions?

Same issue here.  Tried installing in on WS2008 (vista x64 based), same deal.  I'm thinking it's not x64 compatible.

The system works well with x64. please check in your netwroking and sharing center that your network is defined as home or work. in win7 if you define your network as public the OS will NOT allow us to discover our componets.

Hmmm...  I tried in on my Win7 x64 machine, no firewalls, network is set to "work"  (specifically "domain").  Even on this machine, the troller cannot connect to the manager?
Not sure the issue then.

My network is set as "home".  No other network issues noted as far as accessing other clients on my network via Win 7, RDP, etc.  But no luck with eyecon.

well, then it is a bit more sinister than that. Please let us know if you are connected to the network both via wire and wireless. if yes please disable one of them . then restart eyecon manager. If this does not help or not applicable, can you please open a  browser on the computer where eyeconmanager is running. Please type http://localhost:8181/status. prnt screen and send it to support@eyecontechnologies.com. If it says cannot find eyecon server then please go to c:\ProgramData\Eyecon\logs and send all the files you find in this directory to support@eyecontechnologies.com

Thanks Ari

My PC has dual NIC cards, so I disabled one (just left the one wired one connected), rebooted, and still no go.  I cannot get to the status page (just an IE error that webpage doesn't exist).
I'll email you the log file so you can have a look.
UPDATE:
I just tried to delete the old log file (had a info from the previous install).  In the process I noticed that the Eyeconmanager service isn't auto-starting.  I manually started the service.  Now I can stag the status page info.  Before I email the log, I'm going to let it grunt away for a bit looking for media.  Should the troller see the manager as soon as it's running?  Or does it need to find the media before it can connect?  Right now the troller is still hanging.

Ok,
Found the issue.  Eyeconmanger won't run on a PC with a fixed IP for the NIC card.  I changed it to DCHP, works, set it to fixed, it will hang forever.  Switch it back to DCHP, works again.
I'd like to try this software, but for our setup, we need the fixed IP's for other network issues.

I had it working for a bit.  I could connect, but there was nothing I could push around.  The log started showing java errors, tried rebooted, now it won't connect at all.  I email the log file to see if it will help with this issue.

Eyeconmanager won't run on a PC with fixed IP or EyeconTroller?  My desktop has a fixed IP and EyeconManager seems to be running.  When I go to http://localhost:8181/status I can see everything running and it detecting things but when I run EyeconTroller on the same computer EyeconManager is running on (with fixed IP), EyeconTroller hangs looking for the manager.  I haven't had a chance to try it after changing to DHCP as I'm currently remote controlling my home computer from the office to perform the install etc.

 Hi,
EyeconManager on Static IP Address-
We are looking into the issue of EyeconTroller not connecting to the EyeconManager on a machine with static ip-address. Please use the EyeconTroller app on an iPhone, iTouch or another computer and it should connect to the EyeconManager. If you have additional problems, please contact us.
We will have an update regarding the fixed ip-address soon.

Thanks.

Had the same issue. Looks like by default EyeController registered an exception with WindowsFirewall on PUBLIC network.  If your network is private (Home/Work), then it's no go.
Fix:  Go to Control Panel, firewall configuration, then enter exception for HOME for all eyeConn components.

I installed Eyeconmanager and a respectfull variety of DLNA/UPnP servers on Win7/32-bit, like serviio and Twonky Server.
Server status reports BAD UUID's for all the servers I've tried. This means the servers do not show up in Eyecontroller under windows and/or OSX.
Anything I can do to resolve this?
Only WMS12 and iTunes run ok.
