I'm not having any luck launching the control point software on 10.5.8 running on a power pc G5, I've installed adobe air and java is up to date. I click on the control point application and nothing happens. Nothing shows up in the activity monitor. the eyetunes application becomes unresponsive. The only applications that launch are the player and the troller...which offer no functionality when I open them. ??? I paid my 4.99 to use with my itouch at home...

I also have a mac power PC. Have there been any successes in supporting this version as of yet? I appreciate the assistance.

The issue with Power PC is lack of 1.6 java version from SUN. once Sun will upgrade to 1.6 we will support power PC

Apple supports Java for Mac OS X, not Sun. As it's been almost two years since they released Java 1.6 for Intel OS X 10.5 and there's been no sign of a PPC version in that time I don't see it happening now. If PPC-compatibility requires PPC Java 1.6 then I don't think it will ever be compatible.

Dear jchunter, you might be right, we have no visibility into apple's plans at this point. Maybe if you and other MAC users will apeal to apple it will help

Dear Dissonance,
My apologies if we were not clear that power PC version is not supported yet. Please email support@eyecontechnologies.com so we can discuss other options.
